Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort

I loved the charming decor and spacious areas at Inn Beach Resort. Ocean views from various spots. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help when needed. The location was perfect, only a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the engaging activities offered, especially the complimentary beach gear rentals. A downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and often dropped, frustrating. Better grab bars in the bathrooms would enhance accessibility. It felt cute and suited for families like mine.

We have stayed in this adorable hotel for 13 nights, everything was perfect, the location was magnificent to everything in Carlsbad. Liked a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and an individual safe in the room. All the staff was professional and accommodating and greeted us warmly. Location: the property was next to the ocean, the beach, library. For short-orders there was Board & Brew, we found it close by. You guys made our stay fine!

The Inn Beach Resort has such good decor. The spacious areas with beautiful ocean views. Its charming atmosphere was cute and very accessible for seniors like me.

Better grab bars in bathrooms would be nice.

The location.

Not as friendly and personable as it has been in the past. Has lost some of its charm. I used to be greeted and treated as a return guest, not anymore.

The king room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The location was excellent, within walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants in Carlsbad Village. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the included amenities like beach chairs and umbrella for a modest resort fee.

The only downside was the need for more tables and umbrellas on the lawn area.

They bedding is horrible !! The comforter was nothing but LUMPS. Keeping warm was difficult at best. I had to ask for a blanket becaus the hearter in room was too loud to sleep and the bedding was not functional. We stayed in the condo complex 2 weeks prior and had the same experience, but they were replacing the bedding at that time for the condos. The Hotel section has not been updated with new bedding. This needs to be sone sooner than later.

Pool area crowded with kids, but beach access is easy. Enjoyed complimentary beach chairs and organized activities like walking tours.

Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort was incredibile - recommend it to anyone. Staff is incredibly friendly and accomondating. Ammenitites were great. We liked it so much that we left conference accomondations in San Diego to return to Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort and I drove back and forth and it was worth every mile

It was just a well-suited match for a swift visit in Carlsbad with good value for price. The easy access to the ocean across the street was a nice bonus. Consider walking to nearby restaurants for some great meal options.

Great location, convenient to jogging along shore and to I-5 for travel up and down the coast. Wonderful restaurants within a short walk. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms and throughout the building.

Room was noisy. There was a large gap under the door and I could hear hallway conversations. This was on main floor, near the elevator. The room shared a connecting door with the adjacent room, with no insulation around the door, so I could hear everything a distraught mother was saying loudly to her two children. This is not a hotel, but a time-share.
